From the 60-second Mind series at Scientific American comes a scientifically rigorous approach to how people view scantily clad other people.  Part of the study involved giving participants the choice to administer a painless electric shock to the subjects.  Th participants chose to shock the clothed subjects more often than they opted to zap the subjects exposed above the waist.  So, basically, if you’re lookin’ for a little sympathy, maybe you should just take your pants off…
