I remember being 8 years old and gleefully regaling my classmates and teachers with mummification facts (“They remove the brain through the nose with a hook! “Organs are removed and placed in canopic jars!” “SACRIFICIAL KITTENS”).  However, even as a kid, I was always cranky about the fact that we weren’t really sure exactly how the ancient Egyptians went about the nitty-gritty of preserving a corpse.  So what I’m saying is, I cannot wait to see this documentary.

I love it when scientists do amazing shit.
